The total number of COVID-19 Corona Virus cases around the world has gone up to 1 million.

Statistics from various international health institutes show that 1,000,168 people have been diagnosed for the illness so far with, 51,354 casualties and 201,191 recoveries.

Over 500,000 new cases were reported yesterday alone with over 4,000 deaths. As the global pandemic spreads worldwide, only 18 countries remain free of the illness.

The highest number of cases are reported from the USA with 235,747 people tested positive so far followed by Italy with 115,242 cases. Spain has the third highest number of cases with 110,238 and Germany has 83.459 cases. The combined number of deaths from the illness in those four countries is over 30.000.

China, the ground-zero for the illness, has the highest number of deaths from the illness after the aforementioned countries with 3,318 deaths.

Health experts have said that the COVID-19 Corona Virus that surfaced in China last December is the biggest disaster to face the world since the second World War.
