Government appointed Spokesperson for the state response to the COVID-19 Corona Virus outbreak, Mohamed Mabrook Abdul Aziz has said that only five tourist safari yachts are under quarantine currently and no tourist resort in the Madives is currently under quarantine.

Speaking at the press conference today, Mabrook said that the vessels under quarantine are VSG Glory, Cargo Vessel, Arc Noble Safari, Island Safari and SY Starsend.

He said that there are no resorts under quarantine.
