Media outlets in China have reported that a man has died from Hanta Virus.

According to reports, the man died while traveling on a charter bus from Yunnan Province to Shandong Province. Chinese news outlets report that the man was tested positive for Hanta Virus after his death.

Economic Times reported that all of the passengers on the bus were tested for the virus. Along with the infected person, there were 32 other passengers.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Hanta Viruses are a family of viruses which are spread mainly by rodents and can cause varied diseases in people. FBC News reports that it is not an airborne illness and can only spread to people if they come in contact with urine, feces, and saliva of rodents and less frequently by a bite from an infected host.
