Anantara Dhigu under monitoring after two for locals and a foreigner suspected of COVID-19

The Government Spokesperson for the COVID-19 situation in the Maldives, Mohamed Mabrook Abdul Aziz has said that after discovering two Maldivians and a foreigner showing symptoms of the COVID-19 Corona Virus, Anantara Dhigu Maldives tourist resort has been brought under monitoring protocols.

He said that the resort will be monitored until the isolation process is over.

Mabrook said that since the samples collected from Adaaran Club Rangali and Centara Grand Island Resort have come back negative, the quarantine procedures are being lifted at the two island resorts.

The Government Spokesperson said that while 13 people have tested positive in the Maldives, 621 people have tested negative and there are two cases pending results.
