The Maldivian High Commission in Malaysia has decided to change the official service hours of the commission.

A statement issued by the High Commission said that they will be opening from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The statement also advised that people coming in for any service to inform beforehand and follow the instructions given.

Last Monday, the Malaysian government decided to implement a nation-wide lock down from today to 31 March amid the COVID-19 Corona Virus pandemic as it reaches the country.

The number of people tested positive for COVID-19 is close to 600 in Malaysia.
