Two suspected of COVID-19 quarantined in Furaveri Resort

Two foreigners suspected of having COVID-19 Corona Virus have been quarantined in Furaveri Island Resort and Spa.

Speaking at the press conference today to inform the public on the pandemic, the government appointed Spokesperson for the COVID-19 situation, Mohamed Mabrook Abdul Aziz said that the two foreigners are being tested for the disease and they will be in quarantine until the results come in.

Under the procedure for COVID-19, a monitoring situation has been established at the Furaveri Island Resort.

So far, 13 people have tested positive for the disease in the Maldives.
