The number of COVID-19 Corona Virus cases in the Maldives has risen to 11 after another person tests positive for the disease.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) announced on Twitter that a foreigner at Anantara Dhigu Maldives resort that was moved to Farukolhu Isolation Facility tested positive for the disease and the person was isolated for testing on Friday.
The first two cases of COVID-19 in the Maldives was found within the first week on March 2020. Since then, a total of 11 people has tested positive. However, no Maldivians have tested for the disease so far.
