Health Protection Agency (HPA) has said that a foreigner at Anantara Dhigu has tested positive for COVID-19 Corona Virus raising the total number of cases in the Maldives to nine.

HPA said that 11 people were found during the contact tracing for isolation and they are currently being monitored.

All nine cases of COVID-19 found in the Maldives so far were foreigners. Four of them were at Kuredu Island Resort and two people from Sandies Bathala Island Resort and Kuramathi Maldives each and one person now from Aanatara Dhigu.
