Samples from three people who were tested for COVID-19 Corona Virus has tested negative for the disease.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said that the people tested negative include the employee from Universal Ticketing Office and a man brought from Shaviyani Atoll Foakaidhoo, both at the Farukolhufushi isolation facility.
While the HPA has announced that three people have been tested negative, a local working in Vilamendhoo Island Resort in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll is being tested for COVID-19 Corona Virus after showing symptoms of the disease.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) said the island has been temporarily locked down for contact tracing and monitoring and confirmed today that they are working on the tests after symptoms of COVID-19 was seen on a local working at the tourist resort.
So far six people have been tested positive for COVID-19 in the Maldives. Aside from Vilamendhoo Resort, Kuredu Island Resort and Sandies Bathala Maldives Resort have been locked down temporarily as well.
