The Gold 100’s Gala Night organized by Corporate Maldives has been held at Dharubaaruge last night.

The grand ceremony saw the inauguration of the Gold 100 magazine and the awards presented to the most successful 100 companies in the past year.

The chief guest at the Gala Night was the Minister of Finance and Treasury, Ibrahim Ameer. The ceremony was attended by a number of high-ranking officials of the government.

At the ceremony last night, the Lifetime Achievement Award to two leading figures in the industry. They are the Chairman and Founder of the Rasheed Carpentry and Construction (RCC), the late Abdul Rasheed and the Managing Director of Voyages Maldives, Salah Shihab.

The winner of the CG Efforts Award by CMDA. The categories for this award are Listed, Non-listed and State-Owned Enterprises (SOE).

Whole the award in the Listed category was won by the State Trading Organization (STO), the Non-listed category was won by Allied Insurance. And the newly introduced category this year, SOE, was won by the State Electric Company (STELCO).

Gold 100 is an annual list of businesses that recognizes the successful endeavors. Technological advancements, innovations and reach in the respective fields are considered when selecting award winners.
