Maldives Police Service has conducted a search of three houses in Lhaviyani Atoll Naifaru in connection with terrorism.

Police confirmed that the houses of three people were searched in Naifaru with a court order following a terrorism cases reported on 21 February.

Following the search, phones, laptops and other electronics were taken into the custody of the police.

While the police continues investigating further, no arrests have been made so far in relation to the case.
