Indian flight operators, GoAir, has resumed flights to the Maldives.
The airline has officially resumed flights in a special ceremony held at Velana International Airport today. The operations were officially resumed by the Maldivian Minister of Tourism, Ali Waheed.
GoAir will be operating flights from the Maldives to New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
The airline initially began operations in Maldives in October 2018 with daily flights to India. The flight operation came to a halt in July 2019 following torrential rain.
After a hiatus of five months, the GoAir has resumed flights to Maldives with flights to three destinations on five days.
