Former President, Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has said that he is the only political leader that the current ruling party cannot budge.

Speaking at a signing ceremony for new members last night, the former President said that it is also the reason MDP loves him and knows that he would not join MDP as long as he is mentally competent.

Yameen said that the money laundering charges against him are of a political one and things can be done unjustly outside the law. And from the moment the case began, he was arrested illegally.

He said that MDP’s internal election this past Friday has proven that the party no longer has the highest number of members and the party only has 23,000 members. Former President Yameen said that we are currently seeing theft at every point.
