A young man has been attacked and injured in Gaafu Dhaalu Thinadhoo.

Maldives Police Service said that a 25-year-old man was at attacked by two people and reported in G.Dh. Thinadhoo around 11:05 p.m. last night.

The victim was taken to the Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital on a police vehicle, according to the police, and is currently not in a critical condition.

Police said that two suspects of the ages 26 and 32, believed to be involved in the attack, were arrested last night around 12:23 a.m.

The attack is being investigated by the police.
