Ministry of Finance has issued an announcement seeking contractors to develop 200 housing units in GDh. Thinadhoo.

The announcement made on Thursday stated that bidding is open for contractors who have been issued project licence under contractor regulation, adding that the bidding process will be carried out according to National Competitive Bidding (NCB) regulations.

Bidders have to pay a non-refundable deposit of MVR 500 to partake in the bidding for this project. Finance Ministry announcement stated that deposits will be collected from 8th to 26th of May between 0830hrs to 1400hrs during weekdays via the ministry's 'Bandeyri' payment portal.

Project guidelines and other documentation will be available on the ministry's website from 8th May onwards.

Bidders are required to put down MVR 1.05 million as bid security, which will be collected for up to 148 days from bid opening date. Bidding for the project is set to be conducted on 30th May at 10am at the Ministry.
