Official website for Maldivian Embassy in UAE launched

Minister of Foreign Affiars, Abdulla Shahid has launched the official website for the Maldivian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The website is designed to provide information about the services available at the embassy for both Maldivian nationals and residents of the UAE.

Bilateral relations were established between the Maldives and the UAE were in 1978. The first Maldivian Ambassador to the UAE was Ahmed Rasheen; who was appointed in 2012.

The current Ambassador, Dr. Hussain Niyaz, was appointed in 2017.
