Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has decided to hold a number of events to be held in France promote Maldivian tourism.

They will be taking part in the IFTM Top Resa 2019 exhibition in Paris along with a roadshow.

MMPRC said that roadshow will be held from 7-10 October under the banner of “Journey to the Sunnyside” will be held in Paris, Nice and Toulouse to promote Maldivian products.

While tourism promotions are being held in France, Maldives receives a large number of tourists from France.

So far, 45,649 tourists have visited the Maldives from France this year so far; a 40 percent increase from the previous year.

French tourists are the seven highest visiting the Maldives.
