President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is set to meet with the media tomorrow.
According to the President's Office, the press meet will focus on providing the details of various ongoing projects by the state. The press meet will be held at the President's Office at 2:00pm.
While the President has decided to hold a press meet, the most pressing questions and concerns are currently about the issues regarding migrant workers and the amendments sent by the government to the Anti-Terrorism Act. In addition to this, some are also waiting on to find out additional information regarding the abduction and murder of Minivan News journalist, Ahmed Rilwan.
The President had also decided on the formulation of a national task force to tackle the issue of illegal immigrant workers in the Maldives.
The President's Office revealed to 'One Online' that journalists will be free to ask about anything during the press meet and assured that the President will answer to all questions of any topic.
