Maldives Police Service on Sunday rescued two tourists who were swept away in ocean currents.

Police revealed that the two tourists were being swept away from the South-Eastern side of Maafushi, in a canoe. The two were saved by four policemen from Maafushi, who had gone out in a dingy.

The two tourists are safe and sound, according to Police.
