President of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), Muavviz Rasheed has testified against the former President, Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, in the trial against him in the charge of money laundering.

As a witness for the prosecution, Muavviz was summoned to the courtroom and asked about the ACC investigation from the point they learned that USD 1 million was deposited to an account of President Yameen, during the course of the ACC investigation into the MMPRC Corruption Scandal.
