The Civil Service Conference has been held biennially since 2014 with the aim of modernizing civil service operations and establishing a faster, more efficient, and publicly trusted service delivery system. The inaugural conference in 2014 saw the participation of roughly 86 civil servants, with 10 papers presented across three focus areas. Since then, the commission noted that subsequent conferences have seen a steady increase in participation, alongside a refinement of themes and an improvement in the quality of research papers presented.
