Former Minister of Home Affairs during the Yameen Administration, Umaru Naseer has said that he is the Minister who did most work to find Abdulla Luthufee (Haajaraage).

At the Parliament inquiry today on the extradition of Luthufee from Sri Lanka, Home Minister Imran Abdulla said that the Yameen Administration failed to extradite Luthufee because then Home Minister, Umaru Naseer, did not give his approval.

Following the Home Minister, Imran’s statement, Umaru Naseer responded by calling the Home Minister a lair and said that the minister who worked the hardest to find Luthufee is himself. Umaru has previously released a list of things he did during his time in office to fine Luthufee.

At the parliament session today, Home Minister, Imran said that all documents are in order for the extradition except for that from the Defence Ministry of Sri Lanka. And when that document comes through, the extradition will take place as soon as possible.
