Maldives Police Service has revealed that a Maldivian man and woman was arrested for hiding Shaim Abdulla, who was reported as missing on June 18.

Police revealed that a 23 year old Maldivian man was arrested under a court order, who was later ordefred to be detained for 15 days.

Last Thursday, a 46 year old woman was also arrested regarding the case and was ordered to be detained for six days.

Police first announced their search for Shaim on June 20th, and finally found him on July 1st after weeks of searching.
