President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced his decision to meet with the residents of Galolhu next Tuesday evening, as part of the ongoing series of engagements with the citizens of Malé.

Heena Waleed, spokesperson for the President's Office, stated in a post on X today that the meeting with Galolhu residents is scheduled to take place at Imaduddin School next Tuesday evening at 8:30 PM.

"Therefore, all residents residing in Galolhu are cordially invited to attend this meeting," Heena remarked.

The President initially announced his intention to commence meetings with the residents of Malé during a ceremony held at the Social Center on the evening of the 17th of last month, marking two years of the current administration.

In line with this initiative, President Muizzu has so far met with the residents of Villingili, Machangoalhi, Maafannu, and Henveiru. Following the meeting with Galolhu residents, the President will proceed to meet with the residents of Hulhumalé Phase One and Phase Two. Separate meetings have been scheduled for the residents of these two phases of Hulhumalé.

The President has previously stated his decision to hold consultative meetings with Malé residents and those residing in the capital, specifically focusing on strategies for developing Malé's neighborhoods. He further clarified that these discussions would involve residents from the four administrative divisions of Malé, along with Villingili and the two phases of Hulhumalé.

It is noteworthy that the President has visited all islands across the Maldives and met with their respective communities within the first two years of his term. During these tours, he also held discussions with all island councils and Women's Development Committees (WDCs).
