Two people have been arrested for stealing a number of shoes from a shop.

Maldives Police Service said that ten safety shoes were found on two people who were stopped and searched near Maafannu Cemetery on Izzuddeen Magu in Male' City, due to their suspicious behavior.

Police said that they arrested two men of the ages 26 and 29.

While two men were arrested today for stealing a number of shoes, two women were arrested this past Saturday for stealing beauty products from the Red Wave store in Male’ City.

Police said that the stolen goods were returned to the owner.
