Criminal Court has freed the two women who were arrested for stealing from the Red Wave shore.

Maldives Police Service said that the two women that were arrested on Saturday night were taken to the Criminal Court for a remand hearing and the court decided that it was unnecessary to keep them in remand.

Police said that the theft at Red Wave store in near the National Stadium in Male’ City was reported on Saturday night around 10:10 p.m. and stolen beauty products were found on the two suspects where were returned to the owners.

Sources say that the two thieves were wearing Niqab were arrested inside the Red Wave store. Stolen goods include Vaseline body lotion, Himalaya face wash, Dove shampoo, Lifebuoy shower gel along with two different Colgate bottles and deodorant in large quantities.
