A 16 year old girl has given birth a child, fathered by a 15 year old boy.

The Island Council President has confirmed the news to One Online.

The Island Police Station is investigating the issue, where the girl had given birth to the child seven days ago. She had delivered the baby at the island hospital.

A similar incident had also occurred last May. However, the child delivered by a 15 year old passed away.
