TreeTop Hospital provided services to 362 people during a health camp held in M. Atoll. This was the fourth health camp organized by TreeTop Hospital this year as part of their corporate social responsibility, according to the hospital.
The camp was conducted at M. Muli Regional Hospital last weekend, on Friday and Saturday. TreeTop said the camp provided services to residents of M. Atoll islands and resort employees.
Eight specialists from TreeTop participated in the camp, providing services. The specialist doctors were from the fields of ENT, Orthopedics and Trauma, Nephrology, Urology, Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Neurosurgery, TreeTop said.
The main objective of the camp was to provide specialist doctor services from TTH to the residents in their own island, according to TTH.
"This is evidence of our medical team's sustainable work to provide services to atoll residents in their own islands. We are very pleased that we were able to serve 362 people from M. Atoll in this camp," said Adil Moosa, Chief Operations Officer (COO) of TreeTop.
TreeTop acknowledged the assistance of M. Muli Regional Hospital, Muli Council, Muli Women's Development Committee, and Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA) in successfully concluding the camp.
In addition to M. Atoll, TreeTop said they have held health camps in Dh. Kudahuvadhoo, Th. Veymandoo, and HDh. Dhidhdhoo this year.
They also noted that camps held in GA. Villingili, GDh. Thinadhoo, and L. Gan in 2024 served over 3,800 people. TreeTop Hospital also mentioned that as an additional objective of these camps, they shared information with medical professionals at Muli Regional Hospital.
TreeTop Hospital plays a leading role in the Maldivian healthcare sector. The hospital's main goal is to introduce new procedures and services, reduce the need for Maldivians to seek medical treatment abroad, reduce healthcare costs, and provide numerous health services to Maldivian citizens with the most modern technology, comprehensive laboratory services, and experienced doctors at TreeTop Hospital.
