Tree Top Hospital, in collaboration with Haa Alifu Atoll Council and Haa Alifu Atoll Hospital, has successfully concluded a two-day health camp in Dhidhdhoo, providing wide-ranging medical services to residents of the northern region.

Held over the weekend, the camp catered to 336 residents from Dhidhdhoo and nearby islands. Eight specialists offered consultations in areas including cardiology, orthopaedics, ENT, pulmonology, gynaecology, and nutrition. The team comprised both local and international doctors, supported by other health professionals.

Tree Top Hospital also provided free medicines for selected conditions and conducted several diagnostic tests at no cost.

This initiative is part of the hospital’s ongoing social responsibility programme. Similar camps were previously held in Kudahuvadhoo and Thimarafushi, with over 3,800 free medical consultations provided across the country in the past two years, including in Thinadhoo and Gan.

Residents expressed strong appreciation for the services, noting the convenience of accessing specialist care within the atolls rather than travelling to Malé.

Tree Top Hospital confirmed plans to continue organising health camps in regions with limited access to specialist services, working with local partners to expand outreach.

The hospital, recognised as a leading healthcare provider in the Maldives, continues to introduce advanced medical services and technology with the aim of reducing the need for overseas treatment.
