Maldives Police Service checked about 461 vehicles during the hours where vehicles were banned, in celebration of Eid-Al-Fitr.

Police revealed that in order to enforce the vehicle ban that was effective from 4:00pm till 6:00pm today, they had advised 364 people for violating the ban and took action against 97 people.

Male' City Council had banned vehicles from 4:00pm till 6:00pm in Male, Hulhumale and Villimale for Tuesday and Wednesday.
