The Business Centre Corporation (BCC) has launched a new online platform called the Kumevi Portal to provide its services digitally in one place. This initiative aims to simplify access to various business services, especially for small and medium enterprises.

The portal consolidates several key offerings, including Authentic Maldives, Seed by BCC, business consultancy services, the Maha Portal, and the creative economy funds. It also enables self-employed individuals to register and access resources.

Through the Kumevi Portal, users can apply to become suppliers for Authentic Maldives, seek workspace solutions, start a business, or request expert guidance on business-related matters. Additionally, the portal facilitates the use of the Maha Portal for fish product sales, registration for self-employed individuals, and applications for creative economy funds.

Previously, these services were offered separately on the BCC website, but are now integrated into the Kumevi Portal and accessible through the government’s eFaas system.

According to BCC, the portal was developed with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Japanese government. The launch, aimed at streamlining services for businesses, was announced through a live event on the BCC Facebook page.

The Kumevi Portal is now available on the BCC website at www.bcc.mv.
