At the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu urged Muslim and Arab nations to take decisive action for Palestine, warning, “If we, as an Ummah, don’t act decisively now, history will judge us harshly.”

He called for the summit to be a turning point towards unity and meaningful change, and praised Saudi Arabia’s leadership in advancing a Global Alliance for a Two-State Solution.

Highlighting the urgency of ending decades of terror against Palestinians, President Dr Muizzu criticised the global community’s inaction, particularly the UN Security Council’s veto use, which he argued has obstructed peace efforts. He condemned Israel’s recent dismantling of UNRWA and urged sustained international support for this agency.

Concluding, he lauded Saudi Arabia’s solidarity and leadership, urging Arab and Muslim nations to work together to support Palestine’s justice and self-determination.
