A man who was arrested for allegedly stealing a school bag has been remanded for 15 days in custody.

The bag was stolen last Tuesday around 8:48, from a motorcycle parked on Ameer Ahmed Magu.

Hifaz Ahmed Majidh, 33, N. Velidhoo has been arrested in the case.

Upon being presented to the Criminal Court, he was given a 15 day remand.

The stolen bag along with its contents have been delivered to the owner.
