The Industrial Dispute Resolution Division has been established at the Employment Tribunal.

The Employment Tribunal said it was a division established under the Industrial Relations Act.

This division has jurisdiction over industrial and union employment cases.

The Industrial Dispute Resolution Division consists of two Employment Tribunal members and 12 members appointed by the Minister to represent workers and employers for a total of 14 members.

The term of office of the members appointed by the Minister shall be three years from the date of appointment. No member appointed by the Minister shall serve two consecutive terms as a member of the Panel.

Cases submitted to the Industrial Dispute Resolution Division shall be heard in accordance with the rules set out in the rules made under the Act. Everyone involved in the case has the right to appeal the decisions of the division.
