Police have transferred Zakiyya Moosa's body to Male' City for further investigations.

Zakiyya was found dead in her N. Holhudhoo home on Tuesday with visible injuries to her neck.

Holhudhoo Council president Rilwan Mohamed told 'One' that Zakiyya's body was transferred to Male' around 2245hrs on Tuesday by a police team.

Police said on Wednesday that the body was transferred for further investigations and no arrests have been made so far.

A person from the island told 'One' that Zakiyya's body was discovered by a municipal staff collecting garbage near a godown by the kitchen in the house. Zakiyya had severe injuries on her neck and a large knife was discovered at the site according to the source.
