Three companies have been contracted to distribute LED lights to households under the government initiative to distribute LED lights to every household.

At a special ceremony held at the Environment Ministry, agreements were signed with STELCO, Fenaka Corporation and MWSC. And the official document was presented to the companies by the Environment Minister, Dr. Hussain Rasheed Hassan.

Under this project, two LED lights; that are cost efficient and environmentally friendly, would be distributed to every household.
