A policeman has been injured during an accident where a car and motorcycle collided into each other on the Sinamale Bridge today.

According to Police, the accident took place around 3:15pm. A policeman was riding the motorcycle that crashed into a car during the accident.

The accident occured since a car was changing a flat tyre on the side of the bridge - when the motorcycle that came behind from Male' crashed into the car. Both the car driver and motorcycle rider had valid licenses.

The 29 year old motorcycle rider had a busted head, nose and chin and was treated at Hulhumale Hospital.
