Maldives Media Council (MMC) has warned of legal action against online news agency, Vaguthu.

MMC had informed the news agency that if they failed to attend the meeting scheduled to resolve complaints submitted against them, works will proceed on taking legal actions against the notorious online news.

Chief Editor and senior staff have been informed to attend the meeting on 19th May at 1:00pm.

The meeting is regarding two cases submitted by Mafrooq Hassan, one case by Maldives Police Service and one case by Mohamed Iyash.
