While senior RDC officials will be summoned to the SOE committee, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has said that the investigation into the company's scam has revealed the perpetrators of the scam.
Speaking at the Parliament's Committee on Independent Institutions on July 16, ACC President Adam Shamil said that there has been a lot of progress in the investigation and that he will reveal some details about the case.
Shamil said that apart from those involved in the scam, it is now known how the scammed money was spent, adding that the information could not be disclosed as there was a link between the money being spent and other investigations being carried out by the commission.
According to the police, a total of MVR 14 million was deposited in the personal accounts of three employees of the company during the scam in 2022, of which MVR 11 million was deposited in the account of one of them.
