Athama Hajj Group owner Abdul Latheef Hussain (Athama Abdul Latheef) has passed away today.

Reports claim that he passed away at the age of 94 while undergoing treatment at ADK Hospital this afternoon.

Abdul Latheef took the most number of Maldivians to the Holy Pilgrimage between the 1980s to the early 2000s.

Abdul Latheef was also awarded the 1991 State Special Award for Outstanding Service to the Community.
