Criminal Court has found two additional men guilty in the murder case of Abdul Muheeth (Bobby), and one innocent.

Bobby was murdered on February 19, 2012 while he was sitting on a motorcycle in the road facing Ministry of Finance.

State had prosecuted Muhujath Ahmed Nasih of Ablaeege, GDh. Gaddhoo, Ali Mushaffau of of Sultanvilla, S. Maradhoo in addition to Mohamed Maimoon of Zaithoonige, Lh. Naifaru.

During a hearing of the case held yesterday, Criminal Court found Muhujath and Maimoon guilty of the murder while Mushaffau was deemed innocent. However, a verdict is yet to be issued on Muhujath and Maimoon.

Three minors were also charged with murder in the case, two of them were sentenced to death by the Juvenile Court in 2013 - a verdict which was also upheld by the High Court. The case is currently being appealed at the Supreme Court.
