Male' City Council has revealed that the temporary markets will be opened within a couple of days.

Speaking to One Online, South Mahchangolhi Council Member Ahmed Zameer confirmed that the temporary market units will be open in a couple of days in Male' and Villimale'. He added that currently works were ongoing on the tent works of the markets.

Agricultural products sourced locally are to be sold at these markets, according to Zameer.

The markets will be opened in West Park area and North Harbor area of MPL in Male'.
