Officials from the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) has met with officials of Adaaran Resort.

NCTC said that they met with the officials upon the request from Adaaran Resort to discuss the security of the Maldivian tourism. And so the challenges currently in terms of security were discussed at the meeting.

While the NCTC has met with Adaaran to discuss security in tourism, they have also advised the public to report any potential activity connected to terrorism.
