One who sustained serious injuries during the accident at Maamigilli Airport has succumbed to his injuries.

Police confirmed that the victim who sustained most serious injuries had passed away at Mahibadhoo Hospital.

Three out of the four who were injured were brought to Male’ City for treatment. However, one had to be treated at Mahibadhoo Hospital due to the seriousness of his injuries. ‘

All four injured works at Airport Fire department of the airport. According to MPS, the accident occurred around 4:15 today, when a fire lorry had run into a seating area after being out of control.

One had suffered head injuries, two had broken legs and one had sustained injuries to his knees during the accident.
