The Ambassador of the Germany to the Maldives, Jörn Rohde has paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid on Monday.

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Minister and German Ambassador discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between both countries and highlighted on the importance of enhancing cooperation in the renewable energy sector. Both the Foreign Minister and the Ambassador also exchanged views on countering terrorism and violent extremism in Maldives.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid was accompanied by Ms. Shiuneen Rasheed, Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
