A march is being organized against the corruption of Sea Life, calling for a faster verdict in the case.

Nafa Naseer, who is among the people who were cheated by Sea Life and is currently organizing the march revealed to ‘One Online’ that the march was being organized by families who were cheated and suffered losses by the company.

The march will begin in front of HDC coming Friday, at 4:30pm and will come to an end in front of the Sea Life Global Inc. Pvt. Ltd. Office.

Nafa revealed that they all believe HDC had huge negligence in the case, and that it was the reason why the march is organized to start in front of HDC.

She added that in order to purchase housing units from Sea Life, many had mortgaged their houses and taken major loans. Hence many had suffered severe losses due to the corruption. The main aim of the march is to speed up the justice process.

The previous government tasked Sea Life with developing 3,000 housing units in Hulhumale’ during 2014. Many had paid large sums of money to confirm a housing unit. However, failure to begin construction of the project even after an year lead to many requesting refunds.
