Housing Development Corporation has initiated a clean-up in Hulhumale’, in time for Ramadan.

According to HDC, the clean-up titled ‘Roadha Saafu’ will be held from 8:00am till 3:00pm on Saturday and will include cleaning up neighborhoods, the beach and the lagoon. The aim of the clean-up is to be able to cover 85 per cent of the island and involve as many as 600 people.

HDC revealed that MNDF and Police would participate in the clean-up while staff of WAMCO and various NGOs along with associations would be taking part in the mega clean-up as well.
