Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid has sent Independence Day greetings to his Togo counterpart, Robert Dussey.

In his message, Minister Shahid conveyed Independence Day greetings on behalf of the Maldivian government and people and expressed his hope that the relations between both countries would only grow stronger in the future.

Togo declared its Independence on 27th April, 1960.
