The Supreme Court of the Maldives has ordered the former Attorney General and the current President of the Husnu Suood, to appear at the Supreme Court in connection to the allegations and comments he made on Raajje TV’s “Falasurukhee” Program.

A letter sent to Suood from the court on yesterday’s date said that he is being summoned regarding his comments on the judicial system and he is to appear at the court at 1:15 p.m.

Taking to Twitter with the image of the letter, Suood said that he would attend the court and continue to his work towards judicial reform.

Talking to Raajje TV’s “Falasurukhee” program on the night of 22 April, Suood said that after their verdict on 1st February last year and changing it later on 5th February, the faith in the judges have been significantly reduced.

He said that he believes all the judges of the Supreme Court has to be dismissed and their capability for their position has to be called into question.

Suood said that there are very capable judges in the system along with those that are corrupt and under the influence of others.
