President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Tuesday joined the march dubbed ‘Dhuleh Nukuraanan’.
While the President joined the march held Tuesday evening, he had tweeted saying that there was no release for those behind the brutal murder of blogger Yameen Rasheed and journalist Ahmed Rilwan, who has been missing for years.
Those who took part in the march reiterated their stand that they would not back down until justice was served.
Rilwan was reported as missing at 28 years, in August of 2014. Yameen Rasheed was brutally murdered on April 22nd of 2017.
After assuming office, the President had formed a commission to investigated deaths and enforced disappearances.
